The Brighton Memorial Library has announced upcoming programs.
“Top 10 Tips for a Happy Dog”: 2pm to 3pm May 27th via Zoom. For adults. Alex and Rebecca from Young Lion Training and Behavior will discuss concrete actions dog owners can take to brighten up their dog’s day and help them live more fulfilling lives. Questions and answers included. Registration required.
“Question of Sanity”: 11 am June 1 via YouTube Premier. For adults. Local history author Michael Keene presents “Question of Sanity: The True Story of Female Serial Killers in 19th-Century New York”. Call or email [email protected] to register.
Zoom Writing workshop: 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on June 2. For adults. Participants will listen to and respond to each other by identifying the strengths of each piece and, if they wish, constructive feedback will be provided. Pieces limited to 1000 words. Call or email [email protected] to register.
Read to Lily: 3 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday via Google Meet. Lily, a beagle mixed therapy dog, is ready to hear stories. Call or email [email protected] to register.
Sunshine & Stories: 10am Mondays and Thursdays. For all ages with a caregiver. Join Miss Elissa by the playground for a socially remote story hour, weather permitting (check Facebook after 9:30 am for status). Masks required for children 3 years and older. Bring a blanket to sit outside.
Talking is teaching: for parents and caregivers with children aged 4 and under. Sign up for monthly packages that include activity idea calendars and learning tips, song and nursery rhyme sheets, expansion activities, theme-based books, and music CDs.
Live Virtual Story Time with Miss Devin: 11 a.m. Wednesday via Facebook. The video will be available for 24 hours.

The Mendon Public Library has announced the following program.
Story Time: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Harry Allen Park, 23 N. Main St., Honeoye Falls. For preschoolers and their caregivers. Stop at the village pavilion for stories, songs, and crafts. Masks required.
The Friends of Mendon Public Library is offering handmade book themed masks for adults ($ 8) and children ($ 7). Three masks of any size cost $ 20. Cash and checks are accepted.
