Children’s book on the life of Daphne Caruana Galizia republished for distribution in the United States
A children’s book chronicling the life of Daphne Caruana Galizia has been taken over by an American publishing house, which means the book will be reissued and distributed in the United States.
Breaking the news on Twitter, book author and illustrator Gattaldo said his book “ Fearless: The story of Daphne Caruana Galizia, Defender of Free Speech ” will be available in the United States from September 2021.
It was after that it was picked up and republished by Candlewick Press, one of the fastest growing children’s book publishers in the United States.
I can not wait! From September 2021, my #childrensbook ‘Fearless’ will be available in America thanks to the lovely people of @Candlewick.

The picture book was published in October 2020, three years after Caruana Galizia was murdered in a car bomb attack near his home in Bidnija, and has also been endorsed by Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders.
A total of seven people are facing legal proceedings, accused of being involved in his death. One of them is an intermediary who received a presidential pardon to be honest, and another is prominent businessman Yorgen Fenech – accused of organizing the murder.
The author of the book, Gattaldo, was a close friend of Caruana Galizia and he also runs a website called www.fearlessdaphne.com for “young budding journalists, their teachers and their parents”.
